Laura Dajao is a freelance integrated dance artist with a Hip Hop and Contemporary style influenced by other specific dance forms such as dancehall and locking to name a few.
Having been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2007 she now dances in a wheelchair adapting movement to better suit her body with the intention staying true to its foundation and history. She believes any one can dance – and it’s about how you use what you have to find your groove.
She looks to fuse movement from different styles to create her own vocabulary to make cross collaborative art as an professional dance artist.
Based in East London, she trained with East London Dance, Candoco and Sardines Dance Collective and continues to educate herself in other styles to better inform her dance style.
