London born and bred, I have danced in excess of 12 years, having previously been a student at The London Music School as a vocalist.
In my professional dance career I have achieved a number of interesting posts. I was invited to join the choreographic team for the London Olympics Opening ceremony, and also performed. I’ve performed at Wembley Arena and in Trafalgar Square, and am the co-founder of The Waacktitioners, UK’s first waacking crew.
Competing as a dancer has taken me to Czech Republic, Sweden and France, and I am a fair and respected judge across the UK scene. But can I teach…..?
In 2006 I taught my first class and have since gone on to create my hip-hop education company, B-Better (http://b-better.co.uk). We, as a collective, have taught classes and run workshops all over the country and our current project is focused on the capital.
Personally, I have been invited to teach in Russia, Sweden, Ukraine, Spain, Azerbaijan and Dominican Republic, and have a strong reputation for helping a student discover skills they are yet to unlock or have long since suppressed. This is my expertise. The dance styles I specialise in are bboying (‘breakdance’), hip-hop and waacking, whilst I am competent in popping, vogue and dancehall also.
I am a reputed host and both public and motivational speaker.
