A writer, spoken word artist, dancer, choreographer, Singer/songwriter, actress and mentor.
As a dance artist Andrea trained in London and New York City. Specialising in dances of the African Diaspora and a leading UK artist in Afro Jazz and Dancehall.
Also the Director of AQ Arts which creates and delivers performances and workshops across the commercial, theatre, corporate and education sectors.
Andrea’s Jamaican heritage raised her on Dancehall, Reggae and Lovers Rock.
Regular trips to Jamaica ensure she is up to date with all the latest dance moves and music in the streets, and in the studios with the leading Jamaican Dancehall dancers.
Andrea has worked as a dancer and actress in various productions, featuring Dancehall and Jamaican culture including working with prestigious leading artists using Caribbean dance such as Beverly Glean (Irie! Dance Theatre) and L’Antoinette Stines (L’Acadco Dance Company, Jamaica).
